General MAF electrical specifications:
1.1/ Electrical cabinet:
MAF electrical distribution panels are in grey-painted steel (RAL 7032).
The protection factor is IP66 for one door cabinets
and IP55 for two doors cabinets.
Other materials are available as options.
Junction boxes are made of polycarbonate.
1.2/ General cabinet power supply:
MAF electrical cabinets must be power supplied by
a 5 conductor cable (3 phases + neuter + PE) or 4
conductors (3 phases + PEN) according to the equipment.
The necessary powers are indicated on the general lay out.
The power supply tensions must respect the following tolerances:
400V tri ‡ 10 % / 50 Hz ‡ 1%.
The entry of the power supply cable inside the electrical cabinet must be made
via a cable gland top left of the cabinet.
1.3/ Conductor colours:
According to CE 60 204-1 standard, MAF uses the following colours in its electrical
cabinets :
BK n z C k Power (Phase 500, 400, ou 230V)
Bc Light blue Neuter (alternating current)
OG Orange Without potential energy or tension coming from outside
BU Dark blue Direct current control (12, 24, 48V/= etc...)
Wh White Direct current control (OV)
RD Alternating current contro! (12, 24, 48V)
GNYE Green/Yellow conducteur de mise a la masse (de

1.4/ Sheaths and cable trays:
Al cable trays are in closed grey PVC (classification M1)
